Since the Greek classical philosopher Socrates stated that he did not eat to live, but lived to eat, this has characterized the Greeks. The meal is the everyday gathering point where you eat the day's meal(s) together and exchange the experiences the day has brought or plan what the day will bring.

Greek Food is therefore the epitome of Greek Culture where nothing is left to chance, nothing has to go quickly, but the meal, which consists exclusively of well-prepared healthy fresh ingredients, is enjoyed to the fullest.

It has not changed a trace since Socrates died in 399 BC. (70 years old).

Today, it is also an unwritten law that if you, as a guest, are offered a meal by a Greek, no thank you is the only thing you must not answer, even if your stomach is probably so full.

Then you have to cook Greek food, so cook plenty and feel free to invite the neighbor or others for a meal.
