Pasta is usually associated with Italian cuisine, where it is included in virtually all national dishes. But in reality, pasta is also a big part of Greek cuisine.

Giouvetsi

Giouvetsi is a Greek dish made with beef, Risoni pasta and a delicious tomato sauce. The meat can easily be replaced by another protein, depending on what you prefer.

It's a perfect everyday dish that the whole family is sure to enjoy! It does not take long to prepare, but on the other hand it must have 1.5 hours to simmer and 45 min. in the oven afterwards – and then you have a delicious Greek pasta dish with a burst of flavor, and you can top it off with feta or tzatziki to put the finishing touches.

Pastitsio

Pastitsio is the Greek version of pasta with minced beef. It's simple, but delicious! Here, you must set aside about half an hour for the preparations, before the dish must have 1 hour in the oven. The pasta is prepared with delicious Greek ingredients such as feta, olive oil and Greek spices. The meat gets good flavor from spices, onions and a little red wine. The dish is topped off with bechamel sauce, and then you have a sinful but delicious dish for the whole family!
