A traditional way of pickling in Spain is by using the wonderful escabeche sauce, which is based on vinegar and wine with added oil and spices. A heavenly flavor combination that goes perfectly with mussels!
They are ready to eat from the tin, and if you serve them in a classic Spanish clay dish with a good piece of bread, you have a fantastic tapas!
