The beautiful Black Lager from Hancock is a delicious dark beer made from 100% lager malt, from which it gets its beautiful dark color and caramel-like sweetness.
The Danish beer writer and internationally recognized beer judge Carsten Berthelsen (also known as the co-host of Natholde's Christmas calendar) says that it is ideal for Danish lunch dishes such as sirloin steaks with soft onions and a Danish steak with fried eggs, and that it can be compared to the German beer type Dunkelbier .
Hancock himself says it takes at least 90 days to make a true Hancock Black Lager!
