Despite the name, the bright Gambrinus from Hancock is a strong and tasty golden beer that fills the mouth well.
The Danish beer writer and internationally recognized beer judge Carsten Berthelsen (also known as the co-host of Natholde's Christmas calendar) compares this beer to a German Bockbier and says that it is well suited to spring's wonderful dishes such as marinated herring and smoked fish with roe, and that it has a nice balance between sweetness and bitterness.
Hancock himself mentions that it takes a full 180 days to produce a bright Gambrinus!
Available in a classic 33cl glass beer bottle with capsule closure and 9.6% alcohol.
